The Client

Our client is one of the leading international providers of construction-related services. They deliver integrated services covering the life cycle of infrastructure projects, real estate and facilities. Renowned for engineering excellence and innovative solutions, the company specializes in complex market segments such as Transportation, Energy, Marine Works, Tunneling, Building and Civil and Structural Engineering.

They have wide experience in virtually every type of industry sector in many countries and have the resources to deliver multinational contracts - typical current projects would include but are not exclusive too the Marinas, Harbours, Bridges and Ports sector

About the Role

This is a senior appointment, for an experienced Construction Manager or Marine/Civil Engineer; with the ability to manage medium to large new build projects within the Marine Civils sector. Requiring the ability to interface with the Client and Public Sector organisations; potentially taking responsibility for the Design process and Profitability of the scheme; and managing a number of multi-disciplinary teams on different sections of the projects.

Reporting to the UK Director, this post will be to manage and to take full responsibility for large sections of the projects and packages of work. They have a wide range of Building projects across the UK region and are bidding for more work in these construction sectors - Marinas, Harbours, Bridges and Ports

About You

This role is reporting to the UK Director and you should be able to demonstrate experience gained from a contracting, engineering and / or professional organisation. Ideally degree qualified and with some form of industry accreditation; you will have at least 7 years experience of Marine Engineering and Infrastructure sectors; excellent communication skills, proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and a proven track record of profitable, timely delivery of major new build schemes.

* Proven Client Facing experience
* Past projects to include key sectors: Marinas, Harbours, Bridges and Ports
* Preferably with Senior Management level experience
* Member of Professional Institution (such MICE, Ceng, CIOB, APM, etc)
* Qualifications Educated to degree level Professional
