The Client
Our client is a one of leading Universities in the UK; providing education and support to over 2,000 active students and staff. They have a large portfolio of property ranging from classrooms, labs, lecture theatres; through to student accommodation, corporate offices and administration facilities.
About the Role
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Facilities Contract Manager to join them and look after the University stock and other associated sites. Based out of a central London location you will be responsible for managing the sub contractors/suppliers and maintaining the contracts for Hard & Soft services as well as Health & Safety services on a Multi-site basis.
You will be responsible for maintaining and implementing best practice in regards to the contracts as well as ensuring successful delivery of all facilities services in support of the universities facilities department. There will also be a real requirement for skills in negotiating sub-contract services agreements and external construction service contracts.
Reporting directly to one of the senior staff you will need to be a strong communicator at all levels
About You
You will be an enthusiastic, experienced and senior level Facilities Contract Manager with experience managing the delivery of both Hard & Soft services across a multi-site portfolio. You will have full H&S industry training as well as some form of sector accreditation, preferably CIPS. Strong negotiation and communication skills are required.
Your Skills
* Ideally a degree in a "built environment" subject and/or a relevant professional qualification, typically: CIPS, MBIFM, MICE, MLE, or equivalent.
* Experienced Facilities Contract Manager within the construction or clientside sector
* Education sector experience would be beneficial
* Multi-site experience
* Hard & Soft Services
