A Planner is required to carry out contract planning in our global clients West Midlands Civil's Business, where projects can vary between £1.0M and £20M in size and to undertake planning activity from project commencement to completion and monitor site progress as required, achieving planned completion dates. Offering up to £45K + car + benefits, we are looking for candidate experienced in using eith Primevera P6 or Asta Power Projects.

Opportunity: Planner

Location: Nottingham

Salary: 30-45k + car + benefits

A Planner is required to carry out contract planning in our global clients West Midlands Civil's Business, where projects can vary between £1.0M and £20M in size and to undertake planning activity from project commencement to completion and monitor site progress as required, achieving planned completion dates. Offering up to £45K + car + benefits, we are looking for candidate experienced in using eith Primevera P6 or Asta Power Projects.

Requirements
-An Operational background and previous experience of producing basic resourced logic linked programmes.
-Experience in the use of planning software would be advantageous.
-The candidate should also have good temporary works knowledge and ideally be experienced in planning in the civil engineering sector
-HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience gained from carrying out a similar/relevant operational role.

Responsibilities
-Visit sites in order to determine how to plan the project
-Assess and plan time, resources and material for projects
-Update the plan through the duration of a project/s
-Ensure that accurate plans/programmes are available to site management
-Monitor progress on site as required
-Embrace learning and development opportunities
-Understand and carry out the role specific requirements of the Business Management System and help to identify opportunities for improvement
-Understand the Business Sustainability Policy and embrace those sustainable practices relevant to the role, helping to identify opportunities for improvement
-Make Safety Personal by working safely, stopping work if unsafe and speaking up to address any safety concerns
-Participate in safety initiatives
