Our client a UK national construction company has an urgent need to recruit a fully qualified HSEQ assurance advisor in a permanent role to provide guidance, support and training on a number of sites in South East England. Suitable candidate should have extensive experience within the construction industry in relation to H&S and have relevant recent exposure to environmental quality. Suitable candidates should possess a NEBOSH or equivilant.Benefits £40K salary +car.


Job Description

Our client a UK national construction company has an urgent need to recruit a fully qualified HSEQ assurance advisor in a permanent role to provide guidance, support and training on a number of sites in South East England. Suitable candidate should have extensive experience within the construction industry in relation to H&S and have relevant recent exposure to environmental quality. The role comes with a salary of around £40K a company car and other benefits. The selected applicant will be responsible for
providing advice, guidance and support on HSEQ issues and communicate procedures, policies and standards ensuring that all legislation, directives, procedures and specifications are fully adhered to.

Key Accountabilities
*Provide Training to staff on HSEQ related subjects
*To carry out HSEQ audits to ensure compliance with legislation and the operation of the Management System.
*To carry out and/or support external audits carried in relation to company certification registration activity.
*To compile reports on HSEQ and performance for the Sector Management team including the Director of HSEQ, the Executive Committee.
*Provide timely and accurate reports on
*Undertake specific HSEQ related projects
*Support the development of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality business improvement plans to deliver improved HSEQ performance across the business.
*Support any HSEQ cultural and behavioral change programme

Dimensions
*Interface with up to 80 staff and 130 operatives
* Interface with Operational Staff and Appointed Contractors
*Interface with external organizations

Technical Know-How & Skills Qualifications Required:
*Good standard of education, preferably a degree or equivalent. Hold or working towards a professional Health & Safety or Environmental qualification such as NEBOSH National General Certificate and or IEMA Certificate

Technical Competencies:
*A good knowledge of appropriate legislation, policy, procedures and standards applicable to Osborne sphere of operation.

Specific Experience:
*A proven health and safety professional with recent experience in an H&SE, or Quality or a related role, preferably aligned to client sphere of operation, e.g. Civil Engineering, Rail etc.

*Customer focused to deliver processes to the business and it's customers and stakeholders
