We are currently looking for a contracts manager, to work for our client, a leading civil engineering and construction organisation, working around the West Midlands, with the role being site based. Offering up to 53k + car + extensive benefits, we are looking for candidates with strong contract management experience, ideally within the social housing sector, however we would be keen to hear from candidates from other backgrounds.

Opportunity: Contracts Manager

Location: West Midlands (Solihull, but site based)

Salary: 45-53k + car + extensive benefits.

We are currently looking for a contracts manager, to work for our client, a leading civil engineering and construction organisation, working around the West Midlands, with the role being site based. Offering up to 53k + car + extensive benefits, we are looking for candidates with strong contract management experience, ideally within the social housing sector, however we would be keen to hear from candidates from other backgrounds.

Responsibilities
-Provide leadership ensuring that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
-Communicate and ensure implementation of business policies and procedures.
-Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts.
-Develop and maintain a fully competent team.
-Drive HSEQ, Risk, Sustainability and Innovation agenda.
-Contribute to the work winning effort.
-Development of financial plans - ensure that these are met and exceeded.
-Ensure appropriate contract review, audit and control systems are met.
-Provision of leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support

Requirements
-Professionally qualified Contracts Manager
-Educated to Degree level or equivalent
-Strong contracts management background on civil engineering projects
-Influential individual with a reputation for delivery
-Experience of managing clients at a senior level within organisations such as Network Rail, Highways Agency, Environment Agency, Local Authorities and developers
-Drive and determination with a passion to deliver a safe, profitable and sustainable business
-Team player with good communication skills and an approachable yet assertive style
