Overview

A big hitting SME, who are small enough to care, but big enough to make a difference are looking for a commercial/industrial gas engineer with an electrical background. This is a field service role so you would be travelling out to the factories of Heinz, Nestle, Warburtons, Hovis, Kingsmill and Premier Foods to ensure they operate smoothly.

Specialising in the design and manufacture, and installation and commissioning of gas burners and associated control equipment for the commercial and industrial sector; it is our positive, forward thinking approach that keeps us at the forefront of advances in electrical control, process and combustion engineering services.

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for engineers to help us keep some of the biggest food brands in production. You will use your commercial or industrial gas experience along with electrical knowledge to install and repair gas burners and control systems.

We like to think long term and are loyal to our staff therefore, we ideally want someone looking for a long term opportunity. You will also enjoy getting out and about for work as this is a field service role and our clients have factories all over the country.

Pay and Benefits

So, what's on offer? As well as the chance to work with ground breaking gas burner technology, there are big financial rewards available. The basic salary is £30k - £33k, overtime is paid at 1 ½ in the evenings and 2x at the weekends. 4 hours overtime a week is £5k extra a year. Company Vehicle, Laptop, Mobile.

Engineers work a 40 hour week (paid base to base). Four day working week you will be required to be on the on call rota covering one or two nights per week. Annual leave is five weeks plus 8 statutory bank holidays
