We are recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to coordinate a diverse and highly technical supplier base for an innovative, global manufacturing company based in Bristol. The organisation are recognised as a world leader in their sector.

The Role
As the Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure on time, in full delivery is maximised. Reporting into the Procurement Operations Manager main duties of the Procurement Specialist role will include:
*reviewing supplier performance with a multi-function team on a weekly basis
*liaising daily with suppliers
*communicating with internal and external customers
*ensuring the SAP system remains accurate at all times
*taking responsibility for continuous supplier performance improvement
*managing suppliers forward load to ensure they have adequate capacity to undertake orders
*assisting with prompt payment by clearing internal invoice queries

The Candidate
If you have procurement and supplier management experience with a background using SAP we would like to hear from you!

To be considered for the Procurement Specialist a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (Business Administration, Business Management etc.) would be considered highly beneficial. A procurement qualification such as CIPS or MCIPS would also be advantageous.

Owing to the nature of the Procurement Specialist role you need to have excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills to be able to successfully liaise with internal and external contacts.
