Cheltenham

1st / 2nd line Software Support required for our client who are based in Cheltenham. This offers the chance to join an established and large organisation and IT team to develop your career and learn new skills.

1st / 2nd line Software Support role is 1st and 2nd line support which is to be to internal customers across multiple sites and multiple companies. The 1st / 2nd line Software Support role is to be general support but with emphasis on ERP systems so knowledge of these are essential.

For the 1st / 2nd line Software Support role there is a massive focus on customer service and your communication skills as this is predominantly done over the phone. You must have worked in a similar environment in the past and have the correct attitude.

The Role
- To provide 1st/2nd line technical software support
- Emphasis on supporting the current ERP platform Dynamics AX
- To take ownership of user support, troubleshooting, fault resolution and service management.
- To maintain a high degree of customer service for all service queries and adhere to all service level agreements and processes
- To log all calls on Service Desk software.
- To involve the relevant IT Service Desk team member when dealing with more complex calls, whilst still taking ownership.
General support around MS Office packages, along with other business applications.

Essential Skills:
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Previous Service Management experience
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good Knowledge of ERP platforms essential
- Good knowledge of Citrix would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Office suite
- Full UK Driving license essential
