This is a really good opportunity to work as an M&E Project manager for a leading global energy management company. If you have worked on complex electrical installation projects previously and are commercially savvy we would like to speak with you.

The role,

The role of project manager will be to take a lead in all stages of electrical projects starting at values of £2million+. You will play a key role in ensuring complex energy management and power solutions projects that are delivered on time and budget. The projects you will be working on will include Energy management, Carbon reduction, SCADA, PLC, generator and switch gear replacements. A number of these projects are quite complex. You will be responsible for making forecast predictions on the amount of manpower and resources needed to fulfil the projects. You will oversee the delivery including liaising with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors. sub-contractors, You will be expected to look at previous projects and find ways to continually improve the processes, so projects run smoother and to budget moving forward. You will be responsible for forecasting cost and risk to operation managers and stakeholders.

The candidate,

You should be an experienced project manager who has at least 5 years exposure working as an M&E project manager. You should have previously overseen one or more of the following projects, electrical installations, Carbon reduction, SCADA, PLC, generator and switch gear replacements. This may suit someone who has started on the tools and worked their way up into a project manager role or alternatively someone who has maybe developed along a more academic route. You should be commercially aware and understand the complexities of both the projects you will be working on as well as the contracts and terms you will be adhering to. We are looking for project managers who understand how to minimise risk while ensuring projects are completed on time and budget. Project managers should a formal qualification such as Prince 2 or PHP at a minimum. Project managers will be expected to complete risk assessments and method statements,.
