Based Chester / Deeside

£300 per day

The Opportunity
Our client is a FTSE 100 medical device manufacturer with multiple production facilities worldwide. We are currently looking for a Project Manager to manage some exciting new projects including a new diagnostics product and rationalisation and second sourcing of the supplier base. Working as part of a cross functional team, the PM will work with various stakeholders from Operations through to the Supply Chain including vendor management, to create and oversee project plans through to delivery. Ideally you will have Project Management experience gained within either the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or related healthcare sectors, and you will therefore understand the regulatory requirements and framework related to bringing new products to market.

The Company
A global business with a proven track record within the medical device market employing approximately 1000 staff throughout various sites in addition to their global presence. They are one of the world leaders in R&D and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in the North West.

The Role
This is a role for a proved Project Manager with experience working within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices/Products sector. You will ideally have managed projects for new product implementations, upgrades or modifications. Additionally, experience of Supply Chain projects including vendor management, supplier rationalisation, second sourcing and bringing third party suppliers in house would all be relevant to this contract. You will be proficient in creating project plans and schedules, managing your time and ensuring cross functional groups and yourself meet given objectives, goals and project milestones.

You will have a proven track record of project delivery and managing concurrent projects through to specified targets. You will both enjoy and excel at managing stakeholders, both internally within the business and externally within the supply chain to ensure resource is available, and you will be a natural at communication so all stakeholders are aware of the schedules, milestones and progress of the projects which you manage. The role requires you to have a keen eye for detail, ensuring quality of work completed meets the required standards and you will be accustomed to checking this on a regular basis.

The Candidate
This is a great opportunity to gain experience working with an internationally recognised FTSE 100 company. You will very organised, a great communicator, and will have a proven track record verifiable by references of similar projects you have delivered in the past. Ideally you will have project managed product upgrades, modifications or NPI/NPD within the healthcare sector whether this be pharma or medical devices.

Qualifications
Medical Device/Pharmaceutical Project Management Experience
Project Management Certification
Relevant technical qualification, Degree, HND/HNC within related field would be an advantage
MS Project

The Package
£300 per day limited company contract
This role is Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
