The Opportunity
Are you a passionate about environmental compliance? Do you want to develop your career in EHS? Are you looking for a role with great development and training prospects?

We're a global manufacturing company who've rejuvenated a local site through investment and are looking for a passionate Environmental Advisor to develop and deliver environment, health and safety process to help continue our development.

The Role
In your new Environmental Advisor position you'll be part of the EHS team championing environmental health and safety across our growing site. All aspects of our manufacturing processes are highly regulated so you'll be responsible for ensuring our compliance with the legislation, including developing and implementing systems to allow staff to better incorporate measures into their day.

As expected in this role you'll oversee the sites PPC authorisation, COMAH regulations and SEPA collaboration, including handling permits, analysing and actioning variations to process in a proactively manner. We're looking for someone to have a real understanding of this who is confident taking ownership. Our ISO14001 accreditation is also vitally important to us so as Environmental Advisor you'll manage this.

Alongside this as part of the EHS team you'll investigate site accidents, analyse data trends relating to EHS incidents and devise strategies to minimise these occurances.

The Candidate
If you've got a strong background in environmental compliance and a desire to really make a difference we'd love to hear from you.

Given the nature of what we do experience working in a GMP approved manufacturing environment such as pharmaceutical, chemical or distilling will be a big advantage. We're proud to work closely with SEPA so to be able to hit the ground running any Environmental Advisor will need a strong knowledge of checking permits and implementing variations.

Personality-wise we're a close knit EHS group who do enjoy collaborating with the production and engineering teams on a daily basis so to make the most of the Environmental Advisor role you're going to have to be a people person with top notch communication skills.

The Company
We're a world leading manufacturing company who've recently established a site in the area and are now growing rapidly. What this means for you as an employee is there's a real buzz about the place, people enjoy coming to work here and everyone's pulling in the same direction to ensure we take the massive investment we've been given and continue going from strength to strength.

As we're GMP approved environmental compliance is crucial to this growth so your new Environmental Advisor role will significantly contribute to this progression from day one, that's why we're so keen to get you on board.

As this is such a great opportunity a lot of our staff have relocated into the area specifically to join us. We're based near a picturesque town on the Solway Firth which is a great place to access the Scottish countryside and raise a family.
