The Opportunity
Our client have created the position of Continuous Improvement Manager to report into a newly appointed World Class Manufacturing Manager to help successfully role out a LEAN program that has been awarded almost 7million pounds of investment for this year. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop under a LEAN 6 Sigma Master Black Belt Manufacturing Manager who has a strong record of coaching and mentoring those with the right attitude top help reach their career goals. The Role
As a Continuous Improvement Manager you will support a World Class Manufacturing Manager in the successful roll out of the LEAN Program to all departments.

The Responsibilities
The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for:

*Reporting weekly factory LEAN OGSM's (Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures)
*Factory Recorded Waste
*Train and educate staff working on LEAN processes
*Direct and implement project facilitation with administration and management
*Establish and conduct LEAN progress reviews on a monthly basis
*Ensure constant application of LEAN standards, procedures and policies
*Execute tracking action plans, analyse LEAN objectives and oversee progress
*Coordinate follow up meetings post LEAN events to ensure work is completed and improvements are updated and controlled
*Work with finance to update LEAN spend, forecast and track LEAN savings by site and overall

The Candidate
The ideal Continuous Improvement Manager will have

*Knowledge of Lean methods (related practices and procedures), principles and practices of continuous improvement
*Experience in factory or office based LEAN tools (Workplace Organisation, LEAN 6 Sigma, Process Mapping)

The Hours of Work
40 hrs a week
Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
