Role: Civils Team Worker (NRSWA)

The Role

We are looking for a number of Civils Team Workers to work for one of the world's leading Telecommunications Companies. There is a lot of work needed on the project and as such you can expect to earn £100-£150 day on price work. The project requires a number of civils team workers for a variety of different roles, including: Excavation, box building, duct laying, reinstating, tarmacking, 7.5 tonne driving, Hiab / grab drivers. You MUST have NRSWA, CSCS and CPCS cards. (It would also be desirable if you held a HGV Class 2 or mini digger licence).

There are a variety of different roles available dependant on your skill set, so if you have experience in any of the above and have worked for utilities (gas, water, electric) / telecoms / energy / highways / council organisations we would be interested in hearing from you.

For this position you MUST hold both the NRSWA, CSCS and CPCS accreditations. (It would also be desirable if you held a HGV Class 2 or mini digger licence).


Core Activities

*Complete work that meets the required quality standards
* Complete work to agreed time scales
* Comply with Health & Safety standards including site risk assessments
* Comply with NRSWA legislation
* Ensure that all work activities comply with environmental regulations
* Ensure the use of plant and tools are conducted in a safe manner, meeting the requirements for operation of the specific equipment
* Conduct daily checks of vehicles
* Conduct daily checks of plant and tools, ensure they are safe to use and where applicable carry valid calibration certificates



The Candidate

* Will hold the NRSWA, CSCS and CPCS accreditations. (It would also be desirable if you held a HGV Class 2 or mini digger licence).
* Must have the ability to identify risks and introduced sufficient controls to manage risk
* Ability to take direction from Foreman / supervisor / management and execute works in an efficient manner
* Customer focussed with a professional outward attitude
* Flexibility to undertake works outside core working hours
* Prepared to go the extra mile and is customer focused

The package:

*Permanent role working directly for the company with progression routes available
*£100 - £150/day price work.
*5 days a week 45 hours a week - Must be flexible to work nights and weekends where needed.
*You will receive a van, tools, petrol card, over all's and company mobile so there is no extra expense to yourself.
