The Opportunity:

Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Service Engineer (any of the Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical disciplines are fine - no need for all 3) required for our client who are one of the world's largest and established organisations. The Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Service Engineer an opportunity to come in for an established professional where there will be many opportunity career wise and financially.

We will consider people with little commercial experience but who can do maintenance, after sales support and who are keen to really forge a career. This will offer £22k as a basic but there is a lot of room for overtime.


The Role:



The Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Service will be giving best in class quality service by providing on-site corrective /preventative maintenance and offering after-sales technical and commercial support.

The Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Service position is field based and requires working at weekends, during public holidays and includes being on a rota to provide out of hours cover and rapid response.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* To develop and maintain good working relationships with customers through providing best in class quality service
* To provide on-site corrective /preventative maintenance and offering after-sales technical and commercial support.
* Carry out commissioning work

GENERAL:

* Timely reporting on progress or delays.
* Timely completion and submission of risk assessments work reports, time sheets and all other documentation
* Offer the client after-sales technical and commercial support.
* Look for opportunities and where appropriate QOF the client for parts, consumables, plant upgrades and refurbishment work
* Liaise and work with a the appropriate sales team
* Offer feedback on future product development, features and functions

The Person:

The Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Service position is an ideal role for someone with a strong academic background and / or someone who wishes to have excellent training with one of the world's leading organisations within its multiple fields.

* Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering qualification
* Good communication skills
