Innovative and cutting edge power sources and test instrumentation company are looking for an expert Electronic Component Engineer to join their close nit and friendly team.

As the Electronic Component Engineer, you will be joining a team who are unmatched in their knowledge, advice and support services within power sources and test instrumentation industry. If you are an Electronic Component Engineer with sound knowledge and experience working on AC/DC Power supplies, Amplifiers and digital controls to a component level, then we want to hear immediately from you!

About the Company

In addition to world class power sources and test instrumentation this established British company have a UKAS calibration laboratory and a dedicated service centre. They offer high level technical and applications support, an extensive range of demo and rental equipment, comprehensive on-site and in-house service and consultancy services.

You would be joining a team of experience experts who work together in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

About the Role

Within this role you would be using your experience with AC power supply to service, repair and maintain power sources and test instrumentation. Your fault finding skills to component level of solid analogue electronics is essential for this position.

You will be working with equipment such as; DC Power Supplies, AC Power Sources, 4 Quadrant DC Source/Sinks, Power Analysers, Oscilloscopes, Calibrators and Frequency Converters.

Overview of duties

*Solid analogue electronics fault finding background (to component level).
*Good understanding of AC and DC power, amplifiers and digital control
*Able to work autonomously
*Happy to talk to customers both on the phone and face-to-face
*Calibration experience would be a bonus
*Must be able to deal with changing work load and demands

The job is Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday. The working hours are flexible and it's up to you how you work your 40 hours. There is no weekend work or need to stay late.

About you

Your background in fixing AC Power Sources at component level as well as your knowledge of AC and DC power, amplifiers and digital control will ensure you succeed within this role.

You want to work with experienced people in a relaxed and laid back atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

There is access to a company car and the boss will always make sure you are never out of pocket if you have to travel for work (Which won't be very often).
