The Opportunity:

Installation & Commissioning Manager (Electrical, Mechanical) required for our required for our client who are one of the world's largest and established organisations. The Installation & Commissioning Manager (Electrical, Mechanical) offers an opportunity to come in for an established professional within the water industry where there will be many opportunity career wise and financially, coming about due to a company restructure.

The Role:

For the Installation & Commissioning Manager (Electrical, Mechanical) you will be reporting into Commercial and Engineering Director, the Installation and Commissioning manager will oversee the electromechanical installation and commissioning of and the control and instrumentation systems for process plant compliant with all statutory standards and best industry practice. Flexible approach to travel and possess a current driving licence.

* Liaise with project managers for their projects objectives, deliverables, financial approvals, reporting and specific requirements.
* Attend installation kick off meetings, set out objectives and obligations, time frames and working practices
* Take full ownership of the installation, commissioning management, health and safety and all legislative things relating to the work.
* Maximise efficiency and price, measure installations to ensure best value.
* Record system compliance and obtain client sign off before client take over.
* Interpretation of essential requirements of the process design.
* Efficient and timely review and clarification of Vendor drawings/documentation, project documentation and standards to ensure installation compliance.
* Source and book suitable sub-contractors and safety equipment where required with Project manager approval.
* Liaise with other disciplines, suppliers and third parties to achieve the required project objectives.

The Person:

For the Installation & Commissioning Manager (Electrical, Mechanical) we are looking for an established professional within electrical and mechanical with experience of the manufacturing, water, wastewater, power, pharmaceutical or food & beverage industry.

* A proven track record of managing subcontractors on hydraulic and electrical installations.
* CCNSG and Safety passport trained.
* NEBOSH or IOSH trained.
* Knowledge on the behaviour of steel and plastic pipework materials and its selection and installation requirements.
* Loop testing and IEE testing of systems.
* Cold and hot commissioning of systems.
* Experienced in Process manufacturing, water, wastewater, power, pharmaceutical, FMCG or food and drink.
* Purchase agreements and sourcing of sub-contractors.
