The Opportunity
Our end client are a globally recognised and trusted corporation who have seen consistent growth over the last few years. Due to an impending retirement in the Kent area we are looking for good people to join the service and operations team of 10 engineers in the area so they can continue looking after their customer base. Our end client really look after their employees and the average length of service for field engineers is over 16years. On top of this you will receive industry recognised product training and an excellent salary and benefits package.

The Role
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for preparation, installation, repair & service of multi-functional Printers/Printing equipment mainly at customers sites but will also involve occasional work in one of the workshops. You will be joining a team of 30 other engineers who operate within this region, with your specific patch covering from Bromley outwards and the entire county of Kent. You will work on average 4.5 jobs per day with each job lasting around 1 hour each. You will receive your days' work through a company provided tablet and occasionally from a call control centre and you will travel from home to customer sites. These positions are mobile roles so the successful applicants will be issued with a company vehicle so must have a full driving license. We are looking for people with excellent customer facing skills.

The Responsibilities
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for:

*Service calls as directed by Call Control, the Area Service Manager or Divisional Service Manager so that we can meet our contractual obligations
*Preparation and Installation of Printers/Printing equipment
*Installation and Troubleshooting of some Software Solutions
*Maintain vehicle stock to minimise loses
*Perform to KPI's in line with company policy

The Candidate
The successful Field Service Engineer will ideally need to have a good understanding of Printers/Printing equipment. Some experience of networking equipment would be an advantage but not essential.
Candidates who can demonstrate they have the right skills and ability to learn will be considered as our end client have comprehensive training facilities.

Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm
Overtime paid at 1.5

The role is paying up to 25k - 30k depending on experience

Product specific training 3 days initial course, followed by shadowing a senior engineer for a period of weeks and then further product specific training following this.
