Job Summary

Bluefire Consulting have an urgent requirement to hire a Diesel Fitter/Technician to work nights 7pm-5am Sunday to Thursday . The role paying £20000 to £25000 and will be based in Leeds. Experience in fitting Diesel equipment is essential. Our client are the UK's original tool and equipment hire companies, so previous experience within a tool hire shop and working with associated equipment is prefferred

Diesel Fitter/Technician- Nights
Sunday to Thursday- 7pm- 5am
Based in Leeds
Paying 20k- £25k

The Role
The Diesel Fitter/Technician- Nights, reliability and availability of hire stock in a cost effective manner. Experience in fitting mechanical and electrical equipment is essential for this role preferably small tools

Diesel Fitter/Technician- Nights main duties will involve:

*Promote teamwork between colleagues across all locations, to ensure delivery of an effective workshop performance
*Routine service and maintenance of all hire equipment and products
*Liaise with the Workshop Manager when spare parts are required to ensure cost effective repairs
* Liaise with Workshop Manager to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs also providing recommendations regarding write off, damage and recharge to customers
*Advise Workshop Manager of repairs covered under warranty
*Carry out refurbishment of equipment and products where necessary
*Ensure service records are maintained and updated onto Spanner and daily worksheets are populated
*Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work
*Complete statutory inspections when required
*Adhere to damage process, ensure product damage is highlighted
*Maintain and ensure maximum workshop productivity in line with company targets
*Represent the company and values of the business and portray a professional and businesslike image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work.
*Be a key driver in serious about safety by leading from the front
*Ensure workshops and products / equipment are maintained to our 360—¦ brand.
*Carry out other tasks and duties as required

The Candidate:
The ideal Diesel Fitter/Technician- Nights will have;
*Experience in fitting Diesel equipment is essential for this role
*Technical understanding of products and hire equipment
* Strong communication skills
