Job Description

Role: Civils Team Worker (NRSWA)

Location: North West (Liverpool / Manchester)

Salary: 6 Month Direct Fixed Term Contract paying £100 / day rate + Van + Fuel + Tools + Benefits


The Role

We are looking for a number of Hiab/Grab Drivers to work for one of the world's leading Telecommunications Companies. Working on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract directly for the client paying £100/day rate. The project requires a number of civils team workers for a variety of different roles, so we are looking for individuals with experience in any of the following: 7.5 tonne driving, Hiab / grab drivers, Excavation, box building, duct laying, reinstating, tarmacking This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long term contract with good opportunity for extension or to be taken on a permanent basis. There are a variety of different roles available dependant on your skill set, so if you have experience in any of the above and have worked for utilities (gas, water, electric) / telecoms / energy / highways / council organisations we would be interested in hearing from you.

For this position you must hold the NRSWA accreditation.

Core Activities

*Complete work that meets the required quality standards
* Complete work to agreed time scales
* Comply with Health & Safety standards including site risk assessments
* Comply with NRSWA legislation
* Ensure that all work activities comply with environmental regulations
* Ensure the use of plant and tools are conducted in a safe manner, meeting the requirements for operation of the specific equipment
* Conduct daily checks of vehicles
* Conduct daily checks of plant and tools, ensure they are safe to use and where applicable carry valid calibration certificates



The Candidate

* Will hold the NRSWA accreditation
* Must have the ability to identify risks and introduced sufficient controls to manage risk
* Ability to take direction from Foreman / supervisor / management and execute works in an efficient manner
* Customer focussed with a professional outward attitude
* Flexibility to undertake works outside core working hours
* Prepared to go the extra mile and is customer focused

The package:

*6 Month Fixed Term Contract working directly for the company with progression routes available
*£100/day rate.
*5 days a week 45 hours a week - Must be flexible to work nights and weekends where needed.
*You will receive a van, tools, petrol card, over all's and company mobile so there is no extra expense to yourself.
*Holidays

This role is subject to a satisfactory Security Clearance check. Please note this is a requirement of the role.
