The Opportunity

The Role
Manufacturing Load Coordinator role exists within the Customer Service Team. You will need to be able to work as part of a team, applying your co-ordination skills flexibly across a range of departments., with a wide range of customer needs. The importance of the role should not be underestimated; this position requires an exceptional individual who is able to build effective relationships with people, manage demand and improve our level of customer service. You will need to satisfy the order requirements of all customers, together with the optimization of the capacity of the manufacturing plant by balancing the machines work load and priorities coupled with ensuring that reserves and stock replenishment are actioned and ordered for the correct manufacturing date on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Load Coordinator will be working with customer service coordinators daily to ensure;

*Orders are scheduled for correct dates, Reserves are released at the appropriate time and reviewed
*Dispatches and lead-times are optimised
*Stock is operated to meet customer agreements and needs
*To load and enable the factory to produce 24 hours ahead
*Balance load, gaps and orders across machines to maximise capacity and up time
*Where appropriate order board and book through GPT system
*Attend capacity call meetings with relevant data to gain quick decisions daily, and SOP meetings monthly
*Direct offload to other factories as needs dictate
*To ensure correct machines speeds are on the system, to ensure optimum loading at all times

The Candidate
The ideal Manufacturing Load Coordinator will be;

*Strong Customer Skills
*Strong Analytical Skills
*Previous Coordinating or Planning experience desirable
*Experience with Negotiating desirable
*Ability to cope well under pressure.
*Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written
*PC Literate and confident with Microsoft Excel
*Self motivated and committed
*Proven time management skills
*Consistent accurate attention to detail
*A flexible and adaptable attitude
*Organised with ability to work under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines
*Team and Customer orientated
