An international manufacturing company who produce metal components for a range of industries are looking for a driven, dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer / Quality Technician to play an active role in a fast moving department.

This role suits someone who is highly adaptable, hands on, ambitious and multi skilled. Experience in Aerospace manufacturing is a big advantage.

About the Role

Within the role you will use your experience of quality tools (Pareto, SPC, 5 Why's, Fishbone), your knowledge of Non Conformance Management techniques (8D) and your track record of continuous improvement (5S, 6 Sigma, Lean) to assist the engineering teams to introduce new products.

You will assist the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the new products navigate the Production part approval process and are signed off by the customer.

You will also conduct internal audits in accordance with the quality management system ISO 9001.

What Are We Looking For?

The ideal candidate is an experienced Quality Engineer / Quality Technician with a background in Aerospace Manufacturing, experience of quality tools and a proven record of continuous improvement.

This is very fast paced company, new and bespoke products are being launched all the time, you must highly adaptable and be familiar with a range of production methods to keep up.
Those with a background in only the Automotive Manufacturing are likely to struggle in this role, wider experience of various production and manufacturing techniques is required.

Pay and Benefits

So, what's on offer? As well as the chance to play an active role in a quality management team and progress to Production Manager, there is a basic salary of £35k - £40k. There also a 6% matched pension, 5% bonus and 25 + 8 days holiday.
