The Role
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for preparation, installation, repair & service of multi functional Printers/Printing equipment mainly at customers sites but will also involve occasional work in one of the workshops. You will be joining a team of 8 other engineers UK wide, with your specific patch covering North Yorkshire and North East regions. You will work on average 4.5 jobs per day with each job lasting around 1 hour each. You will receive your days work through a company provided tablet and occasionally from a call control centre and you will travel from home to customer sites. These positions are mobile roles so the successful applicants will be issued with a company vehicle so must have a full driving license. We are looking for people with excellent customer facing skills.

The Responsibilities
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for:

*Service calls as directed by Call Control, the Area Service Manager or Divisional Service Manager so that we can meet our contractual obligations
*Preparation and Installation of Printers/Printing equipment
*Installation and Troubleshooting of some Software Solutions
*Maintain vehicle stock to minimise loses
*Perform to KPI's in line with company policy

The Candidate
The successful Field Service Engineer will ideally need to have a good understanding of Printers/Printing equipment. Some experience of networking equipment would be an advantage but not essential.
Candidates who can demonstrate they have the right skills and ability to learn will be considered as our end client have comprehensive training facilities.

The role is paying up to 25k depending on experience

Product specific training 3 days initial course based in Warrington, followed by shadowing a senior engineer for a period of weeks and then further product specific training following this.
