The Opportunity:

Graduate Technical Engineer (Mechanical, Civils) required for our client and is to be based in their Northern Ireland office. The Graduate Technical Engineer (Mechanical, Civils) offers the opportunity to come in to a globally renowned company, receive outstanding training and work in other offices of theirs around the world.

The Role:

For the Graduate Technical Engineer (Mechanical, Civils) is to assist sales and the project management:

*Managing the specification for sales and current projects
* Create accurate plant technical specifications through liaising with sales team/customer
* Working as part of the operations team to produce accurate details for the design, purchasing and production departments required to deliver the project specification in an accurate and timely manner
* Inform Sales/Design/Purchasing teams about the various aspects of the project specification
* Perform pre/post project investigations to assist continual improvement for current/future work.
* Develop/manage the plant specification process to improve specification accuracy and efficiency
* Supporting the sales team through preliminary technical specifications, site visits and technical advice on the products/process.
* Working as a member of the operations team to constantly strive for continuous improvements through improving processes and product development


The Person:

The Graduate Technical Engineer (Mechanical, Civils) role is ideal for someone with an engineering degree - preferably mechanical or civils - and this will be 2.1 or above. For the Graduate Technical Engineer (Mechanical, Civils) we would like candidates to have extra interest in engineering outside of work (such as car restoration, for example) and you should have some commercial, experience (but can be on a placement).

*Hold a degree in an engineering displace - preferably mechanical, civils or design
* Have an element of commercial experience, even of on a work placement
* Ambitious and always wanting to learn
