Industrial Refrigeration Engineer
Norfolk/Suffolk - Region Field Based
£33k - £35k, Car, Fuel Card, 8% non-contributory Pension, Mon - Fri 39hours, Bonus, Private Health, 27 days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays, Mobile.

Job role
In this role you will be required to perform the installation, maintenance, commissioning and repair on a range of cooling and refrigeration product lines including; chillers, condensers, CRAC and In Row Products. It is preferred that your experience is from an industrial background (food and bev, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, nuclear, HVAC and leisure & ice), working in heavy plant environments using ammonia NH3 and CO2 refrigerant. Heavy commercial experience involving ammonia will be considered also.
You're role will be very varies, probably attending one job per day and completing a full service, PPM, reactive maintenance or installation projects that may span a few days. You'll travel from home to site usually putting in an 8-9 hour working day before returning home, it is also worth a note that there may be the occasional stay away from home so some flexibility is needed here. Your work is allocated via PDA device and you'll be the go to engineer in your region.
The role is customer facing as you'll be attending the customer site representing your company, meaning communication and customer facing experience is also a must. Once up to speed you may be required to use your technical knowledge to provide training and support for field service engineers coupled with providing problem solving and fault finding process improvement ideas, to allow the team to adopt a continuous improvement policy.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be qualified in C&G 2078 - with ammonia and C&G 2079 Refrigeration qualifications. You'll require experience working in a field based environment centred around industrial plant environments. You'll have electrical knowledge of diagrams and circuits but don't require any formal electrical qualifications, but if you have them, even better. The candidate should seek to join a company where they can actively look to continue their training and development on industry leading technology.
You'll cover the region of Suffolk/Norfolk as your field based area, so you can live in either county or even in neighbouring Cambridgeshire if the commute is realistic. You'll be doing one job per day on average and will travel from home to site.

The Package
The role is paying a salary between £33k - £35k depending upon experience, you'll also received overtime and Car, Fuel Card, 8% non-contributory Pension, Mon - Fri 39hours, Bonus, Private Health, 27 days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays, Mobile, Call Out.
