We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Operations Manager to drive performance in the East Midlands, in this business telecoms & civils install environment.

The Site Operations Manager is responsible for effective end-to-end delivery of a positive customer experience covering civils, cable and activation activities - this is a role for a true people manager that can lead the area through a tier of supervisors.

The Role

As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for day to day operational outputs to achieve mandated KPI's and managing the cost base aligned to monthly revenue generation. Ensuring a culture of performance management is embedded across the team, with clear objectives and targets set for individuals. This is a multiple appointment, KPI driven environment so the key to success is ability to cascade coaching and development techniques down through the supervisors to ensure the best possible customer experience.

Engineering workforce is well equipped and well trained so the position has a solid foundation but the goal is to further push things forward and build on this base to ideally make the area the flagship for the country.

Core Activities

#Responsible for site end-to-end management of civils, cabling and activation activities, ensuring hand-off between disciplines is executed in an efficient manner.
#Own the cost budget for the site, ensuring it is at all times aligned and trimmed to meet operational and financial needs.
#Responsible for meeting all delivery, quality and H&S KPI's for the site.
#Direct line management of supervisors.
#Conduct 1-2-1's, team briefs and tool box talks.
#Responsible for minimizing cost of failure and own any improvement plans associated with poor performance in the region.
#Ensure fleet, tools, facilities and stores are managed at a regional level.

Experience

#Proven track record of managing field operations in a telecommunications /civils environment.
#Experience of managing team leaders or supervisors.
#Proven experience of building capability and developing others.
#Have an astute relationship management style, with the ability to gain credibility with key decision makers.
#Computer literate.
#NRSWA Supervisor Level
#CSCS
#Any exposure of leading teams within a customer NPS (Net promoter score) based environment would be an advantage.

Package

£35-40k basic plus KPI driven bonus with company vehicle, pension and flexible benefits package, potentially including healthcare.
