Electrical Contracts Manager
Paying £35k to £40k plus Car and benefits
Based in Reading covering M4 corridor

The Opportunity
The Electrical Contracts Manager role has come about due to expansion within the company. The role will be a 50/50 split of managing a team of 26 Field Engineers and also to own, maintain, manage and develop the relationship between our end client and the relevant client portfolio. The Electrical Contracts Manager will need to interact with the clients at the highest level, and to be the prime interface between the two companies. You will be the 'champion' for these accounts - the 'go to' point for the client and to control, manage and agree all engagement, particularly around business generation. You will need to identify and qualify new business opportunities within each client organisation and to identify and manage any risks with business delivery on these accounts. This role may also suit a Operations Manager or Field Manager

Duties
The Electrical Contracts Manager will need;

*To liaise directly with customer contacts to ensure that they are completely satisfied with the service delivered
*To ensure that service delivery is in line with SLAs and quoted works
*To prepare and manage detailed account management plans for each client
*To secure additional revenue streams for each account, based on targets to be agreed annually
*Database Management - Ensure all quotations, correspondence and opportunities are updated and logged accurately on CRM database
*Manage regional engineers and supervisors against performance and applicable KPIs

The Candidate
The ideal Electrical Contracts Manager will need

*The gravitas, confidence and relationship management skills to deal with a large client, and to challenge colleagues internally if you need to.
*A solid commercial awareness - you'll be adept at quickly getting up to speed with the details on each contract and assessing their economic viability.
*Natural self-starter, confident with developing new opportunities from scratch
*Strong, persuasive character, able to negotiate strongly without jeopardising a positive outcome
*To have a strong commercial mind and be able to make logical and well thought out decisions
*The ability to prioritise workload without procrastination
*Experience in contract management.
*Experience in managing direct reports to include field staff through supervisory roles against targets and KPIs
*To be able to communicate effectively and confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels
*The ability to understand regulation and policy

Desirable Qualifications
The ideal Electrical Contracts Manager will have;
*17th Edition
*HNC/NVQ Level 3 Electrical
*Apprenticeship
