The Opportunity
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading logistics machinery organisation focused on excellent customer service and staff development maintaining motor and hydraulic equipment. The Role
As a successful Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of logistics machinery including fork lift trucks, pallet stackers, order pickers and tow tractors across the South Midlands. Main duties of the role will include:
*finding, diagnosing and rectifying faults on customer equipment
*servicing FLTs and other equipment
*ordering spare parts as required
*monitoring levels of van stock
*maintaining excellent product and industry knowledge through in-house training
*ensuring all health, safety and environmental procedures are adhered to

Working hours:Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm

The Candidate
As a successful Field Service Engineer you must be qualified up to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Automotive Maintenance, Hydraulics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. If you have worked through an apprenticeship in any of these sectors or have experience working in the fork lift truck industry that would be seen as very beneficial.

A background working as a field-based Engineer is considered advantageous.

As this role will be working on customer sites you must have excellent customer service and communication skills.

Owing to the nature of the role you must have a valid UK driving licence.

The Package
£24,612 basic salary
Company van and fuel card
Overtime available (paid at time and a half)
