Salary: £24k - £26k (dependent upon experience)

The Role
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for a Production Planner; Demand Planner to facilitate the smooth production cycle at the North Wales site of a global telecoms company. Working autonomously alongside a range of departments and using systems such as Legacy Telemos and SAP the main duties of the role will include:
*scheduling work along lean production principles (Kanban) to ensure maximum efficiency including downstream processes
*using the Legacy Telemos to create manufacturing orders
*coordinating raw material supply with end product demand through SAP
*ensuring the Telemos system is constantly monitored so any issues are noted immediately
*using SAP to raise purchase orders for raw materials
*managing any production issues through Telemos that should arise to reach the best outcome for the company and client
*working cohesively with other departments to identify and implement continuous improvement processes
*constantly looking to develop product and software (including Telemos and SAP) knowledge

The Candidate
As a successful Production Planner; Demand Planner applicant you must be able to demonstrate previous experience using SAP or a similar ERP/MRP system, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment. If you have a good working knowledge of Legacy Telemos, SAP and lean production techniques, particularly Kanban, it would be viewed as highly advantageous. Production Planner; Demand Planner position requires you to be able to work efficiently and autonomously under pressure so you must feel comfortable in this type of environment. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships across multidisciplinary departments to ensure delivery is as seamless as possible.
