Job Description

HV Fitter Electrical or Mechanical
Scotland
£30K-£40K depending on experience plus OT, excellent benefits package including all tools and vehicle.

This is a primary substation upgrade project, we're seeking candidates who have a background in 33KV+ electrical upgrades. Each upgrade will take place in teams of 3 or 6 depending upon the size of the substation and will take between 3 and 9 months to complete.

The roles responsibilities and what we would be looking for from a candidate include, experience replacing busbars, circuit breakers, isolators, transformers and switchgear.

We are looking for fitters who have worked in substations ideally on DNO's such as, Scottish Power energy, SSE Power distribution, Northern Powergrid, Electricity North West, UK Power Networks, Northern Ireland Distribution or Western Power Distribution or the National Grid. Any authorisations will be a plus.

The projects are spread across Scotland so there will be requirements to potentially stay away from home Monday - Friday but you will be fully looked after in this regard.
This opportunity will provide you with an opportunity to work for a business where progression, training and development is something the business consistently delivers for those who desire it. So anyone looking to become an FSR or commissioning engineer in the future could be well suited.
Apprenticeships, C&G electrical/mechanical or 17th editions etc all welcomed as qualifications, although experience counts far more than anything else.
