The Role
As our new Warehouse Manager you'll oversee our warehouse, logistics and stores department ensuring we're running to maximum efficiency and our Engineers have all the equipment required to service our nationwide clients.

Managing a team of 4 experienced Storespeople you'll be the point of contact for our manufacturing site in Germany arranging equipment orders in conjunction with warehouse capacity and client requirements. Alongside these procurement responsibilities as Warehouse Manager you'll keep an eye on inventory and manage stock control, compiling management reports to stay on top of everything.

We've been ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified for a number of years and as Warehouse Manager we'd be looking for you to act as the Management System Administrator to make sure we remain compliant.

As with any warehouse environment the safety of our staff is crucial, as Warehouse Manager you're in prime position to spot potential issues so you'd also part of the HSE Committee.

The Candidate
If you're an experienced Warehouse, Logistics or Parts Manager we'd love to hear from you!

To be able to hit the ground running you will need a background running a logistics or warehouse team plus managing and ordering stock. We use Navision to oversee inventory so we would be looking for you to have experience of this or any other ERP system and MS packages like Excel.

Obviously we're keen to maintain our ISO status so as Warehouse Manager you'll will need to be confident administrating and monitoring the standards for these certifications.

This is a hands-on Warehouse Manager role, we're a company who believes in mucking in wherever needed to get a good job done so to enjoy your time here you'll need to have the same attitude.

The Company
We're the UK distribution and maintenance arm of a large European manufacturing company. What that means for you is that we operate with German efficiency but with the feel of a UK SME, the best of both worlds!

We're a close knit bunch and once people join they don't tend to leave, the only reason this position's come about is because our current Warehouse Manager is relocating to the coast.
