Experienced M&E project manager required for long term contract regarding a new build site for the NHS in Staffordshire.


Job Description

Experienced M&E Project Manager required to work on a major building project on a site in Staffordshire.This is a £300m project working within the healthcare sector and would involve project management of an 80,000 m2 new build site which would include all aspects of AC/HV/LV plant & HVAC.

You should be a minimum HNC qualified in a relevant engineering subject and have extensive experience of project management within a similar scale of operations. The position requires strong communication skills to deal with the sub contractors (Upto 400 on site) and also, regarding reporting into senior stakeholders for the client and the principle contractor.

This is a supervisory role as opposed to operational and it is a principle design and build contract and as such, you should be fully aware of the requirements expected of a project manager in this area (Flexible working hours, health & safety awareness, detailed reporting skills and compliance with specification and build).

The role has the potential to be a long term assignment with a minimum 6-9 months and then on going.

Previous experience of working in the healthcare sector or NHS a bonus but not essential - extensive M&E project management experience is the key requirement for the position.
