The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a world famous brand in their field. We are looking for a SHEQ professional to manage compliance across a number of safety and environment areas across a multiple estate of buildings.

Reporting to the Head of Business Compliance, you`ll be responsible for the assessment and compliance or operational risks across the buildings on site and develop risk management strategies as a result of this process.

This is a constantly changing environment which involves on going internal construction changes, with a lot of rigging and working at heights, lifting equipment, deep water and pyrotechnics.

Ideally, we are looking for you to be suitably qualified with either a NEBOSH certificate or diploma alongside accreditation with the likes of COSSH & LOLER.

It`s a highly prestigious, varied and challenging working environment and while the role will start on a 12 month fixed term contract, chances are good for continued employment following that initial 12 months.

The company are a global leader in their industry and this is a high profile working environment, requiring professionalism and discretion due to VIP customers. Working environment is fast moving, constantly changing and often involves contract partners working to tight deadlines on multi-million pound projects.

Who are you?

A SHEQ professional, ideally with experience of working across a region or estate of buildings. In addition, experience in the below would be classed as a significant advantage:

* Fixed wire and Portable Appliance Testing
* Chain tackles, trollies, runway beams, lifting roller/shutter doors
* Sub-contractor management.
* Lifting equipment regulations (LOLER)
* Provision and use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER)
* Legionella management and control
* ACOP L8
* Extract and ventilation
* Control of Substances to Health (COSHH)
* Emergency Lighting
* Lighting Conductors
* LPG Certification
* Legal awareness and understanding of individuals and the Company's responsibilities in all areas.
* Desirable to have track record of solid practical experience in Studio, Facility Management or similar.
* Literate with Microsoft Office and web based technology.

Key objectives:
* To develop and electronically complete a full list of the Group's assets that require inspection, maintenance and/or certification across all of the UK group.
* To develop and prepare a Scope of Works for each area of responsibility with reference to all pieces of relevant legislation.
* Conduct regular meeting with the contractors in line with the contractual responsibility to ensure that SLAs are adhered to and that any failure to comply within the contractual terms is raised and rectified. This is a constant construction environment with regular moves and changes of equipment.
* To all reactive and proactive works for compliance and prioritise the remedial work & channel such reactive requests through the compliance Department.
* To monitor and assess the contractor's performance through KPI and SLA arrangements and in conjunction with the terms and conditions of the contract.
* Carry out regular inspections in a variety/selection of works being completed in conjunction with the awarded contract/managed service agreement to ensure all works are completed to a satisfactory standard.

It`s a 42 hour working week, typically between either 8am to 5:30pm or 8:30am to 6:00pm. Car parking is on site, alongside a staff restaurant.
