Parts Controller- Plant and Tool Hire
Salary £20,000
Based in Acton

The Role
The Parts Controller- Plant and Tool Hire will be expected to receive all parts orders and ensure that they are accurately and promptly picked and dispatched. You will support the engineers and management team through accurately completing repairs sheets, invoices, record and log breakdowns on equipment from customers, pass brekadown jobs to mobile engineers and receive hired machine enquiries from customers and deal with other associated admin duties. You will have had previous experience working in a stores environment, be I.T literate and have great communication skills. Responsibilities
The Parts Controller- Plant and Tool Hire will be responsible for:

*Receive all parts orders, interpreting customer requirements and giving advice on any additional requirements or prices, matching orders against stock items and advising customer of any items which are not stocked or need ordering
*Locate unavailable items from other suppliers and arrange for delivery or pass order to stock control for V.O.R. orders to be raised
*To make up customer orders for dispatch as required ensuring that they match customer order and that any shortages are highlighted, ensuring that all orders taken are fully completed, invoiced and dispatch as scheduled and that the customer is kept fully informed of progress or of any problems
*Ensure that the image and levels of customer service within the department is in line with company standards
*Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, referring any unresolved problems are referred to the job holders immediate supervisor
*Ensure that within their area of operation all Company and Trade Associations policies, procedures and minimum standards are met and that all statutory requirements including trading standards, fire, health and safety are adhered to
*To maximize sales opportunities both retail and internal.

The Candidate
The ideal Parts Controller- Plant and Tool Hire will have;

*Strong IT skills and confident using word and excel
*Excellent communication skills
*Good telephone manner
*Previous experience as a Parts Controller
*This is a hands-on role, you will be liaising with all engineering departments
*Have a good understanding of parts or technical knowledge
*Knowledge of Plant and Tool Hire.

The Company
The Parts Controller will work for a leading National Plant and Tool Hire Company.

Hours of Work
The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday 8:00am till 5:00pm. However due to the needs of the business you may need to work occasional Saturdays.

The Package
*Paying Salary £20,000
*20 days holiday entitlement is calculated as at commencement of the holiday year which runs from 1st January to 31st December, therefore your holidays will be pro ratad for this year
