Does quality really matter to you?
Do you get niggled by a lack of consistency in the products your company supplies?

Do you want to make a difference?
Are you a quality manager, quality team leader or lead quality technician working in a manufacturing environment?

Would you like the opportunity to join a team of passionate and committed people working in the packaging industry trying to ensure that they provide the highest levels of quality products for their customers?

If you can answer honestly to the above questions this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Would like to work for a company who have a strong ethical reputation and a really interesting business model if so we would be interested in talking with you about the role.

What you will be doing?

You will take a lead role in continuing to support the cultural change within the site, ensuring all members of the team appreciate the need for the highest quality standards. The previous quality manager who was with the company for a number of years has put some very strong foundations in place but there is a now need to take the department to the next level. Therefore we would like to meet a passionate, well organised and knowledgeable quality professional who wants to take ownership of the quality department.
As with all companies the quality message needs to be continually reinforced with a particular focus on the education and guidance of colleagues. Sometimes your recommendations for change may meet resistance and so it will be important that you are confident and assertive enough to get your message across. You will report into Paul the plant manager who is wants to ensure his site is the best in the region and a leader in the industry. Paul wants someone who is able to hold their own and isn't a yes man/women.

You will work alongside a junior colleague to help further and develop the ISO9001/2000 systems. Your junior colleague will report into you and your further responsibility will be to develop and manage them so they also one day become a quality manager themselves.
Who should apply?
If you come from a quality background ideally in FMCG/manufacturing/packaging and want to work for a company where you will be challenged and supported on a daily basis this could be for you. Degrees and qualifications are always appreciated but the experience and personal attributes you possess will be the key to being successful in this role.
