The Opportunity
Do you want to manage the facilities cleaning provision for a variety of clients across the Midlands area?
Owing to business expansion we're looking for an experienced Area Facilities Manager to join a quality-focused nationwide company who are winning lots of new contracts in the Midlands area.

The Role
As the Area Facilities Manager you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service is delivered for all clients across the Midlands area. Reporting directly into the MD the main duties of the Area Facilities Manager role will involve:
*acting as the point of contact for onsite clients once the contract is awarded
*liaising regularly with the clients to ensure their facilities needs are being met
*carrying out quality audits on site
*ensuring the site equipment is maintained to a high standard
*managing the onsite facilities staff including recruitment, appraisals and disciplinaries
*arranging for staff training, particularly health and safety training and inductions

The Candidate
If you are and experienced Area Facilities Manager or Cleaning Service Delivery Manager we'd like to hear from you!

You must be experienced overseeing cleaning contracts and staff across multiple sites and have excellent man management skills. A health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH would be viewed as highly beneficial.
Highly organised you must be confident managing your own diary and in order to deal with clients you must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Owing to the nature of the role you will need a full UK driving licence and a flexible approach to working hours.

An independent ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accredited commercial contract cleaning company providing clients with office cleaning and associated facility services our client works across multiple sectors.

Owing to a large increase in contracts across the Midlands area last year they are looking for an additional Area Facilities Manager to ensure high standards continue to be achieved.
