Grounds Person
Paying £16500

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Grounds Person to work within one of the largest providers of funeral services in the United Kingdom. You will be green-fingered and have a keen interest in horticulture, gardening and high levels of attention to detail . The Role
We are looking for a Grounds Person to undertake the full range of gardening, cemetery and horticultural tasks and to ensure consistent delivery of the highest levels of client service,

Responsibilities
The Grounds Person will be responsible for:

*undertake the full range of gardening, cemetery and horticultural tasks maintain the grounds to the highest standard in accordance with recognised horticultural and grounds maintenance practices
*construct, place, fix memorials and subsequently maintain to the highest standard
*clear the grounds, paths and roadways of litter maintain all grounds equipment
*remove floral tributes
*fully comply with Quality Standards Manual and Internal Procedures ensure that the working practices, facility, and it's equipment are maintained to the highest standards according to Health and Safety legislation
*assists clients and visitors with their enquiries
*ensure consistent delivery of the highest levels of client service and provision
*be aware of and sensitive to the needs of bereaved people
*suggest refinements and improvements in client service to the Head Grounds person/ Manager
*carry out any other duties when reasonably requested to do so by your Line Manager

*Have knowledge in grounds maintenance or horticultural
*Finds enjoyment in gardening
*Doesn't mind getting their hands dirty
*high attention to detail

Hours of Work
Monday to Friday
8am- 5pm
