We have the job for you!

In your new Building Maintenance Technician role you'll work closely with our Facilities Manager to ensure our City offices remain a safe and professional working environment for our staff. The property is modern and has been maintained in good condition so the vast majority of your role will be running PPMs and attending to reactive works across the mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and occasional fabric fixes.

You'll cover M&E maintenance, general building upkeep, PAT testing, emergency light and fire alarm inspections, basic HVAC, building condition surveys and as Building Maintenance Technician you will also help coordinate external contractors if specialist works are required.

The Building Maintenance Technician position is a 6 month contract working Monday - Friday; 9:15am - 5:00pm with an hour for lunch.

The Candidate
If you're an experienced Facilities or Maintenance Technician we'd love to hear from you.

To be able to hit the ground running you would need some experience working on the tools either in construction, maintenance or engineering. As this role is working for the UK HQ of a global organisation experience working in a similar head office environment would be a big advantage.

You'll be interacting with the rest of our staff on a daily basis so, to make sure you enjoy your job, you'll need to be a people person with good communication skills who doesn't mind explaining FM issues to the CEO or Admin Assistant.
