The Role

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for a temporary Facilities Coordinator to oversee the operations of a busy leased office based in central London. The main duties of the role include:
*Organising preventative maintenance works and repair work when required
*Maintaining an accurate record of all facilities on site, identifying reoccurring problems and proposing solutions
*Coordinating security on site and physical monitoring of the alarm and CCTV facilites
*Ensuring health and safety regulations are met and identifying training requirements for facilities staff who work on site
*Project managing office moves coordinating all relevant parties
*Arranging client events, liaising with internal clients and the catering and cleaning companies
*Procurement of office furniture and breakfast supplies
*Managing third party vendors, forecast the cost of all suppliers and liaising with purchasing departments
*Providing guidance to junior facilities staff.

The Candidate

The ideal Facilities Manager must have held a senior facilities role before. You must have an up to date knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and display a flexible working attitude. The successful Facilities Manager will have line management experience and good knowledge of Microsoft packages. A technical background would be advantageous with experience of monitoring alarm systems and CCTV.
