The Opportunity:

Property / Facilities Assistant required for our client to be based out of High Wycombe. The Property / Facilities Assistant is a newly created role for a massively established and growing organisation, reporting to the Property Manager.

The Role:

The Property / Facilities Assistant role will be working for a commercial property owner and developer who have a portfolio of offices, industrial and retail properties. You will be assisting in the day to day smooth running of operations which is predominantly office based with elements of being out and about.
*Dealing with day to day property maintenance issues reported
* Arranging, quotations for and overseeing maintenance and minor repair works;
* Carrying out property visits and identifying maintenance issues which need attention and compliance with empty property insurance conditions;
* Monitoring the progress of the maintenance issues identified and seeing them through to completion;
* Assisting with setting estate/property service charge budgets and PPM programmes;
* Liaising with utility companies to ensure accurate and up to date readings and billing records are maintained.

The Person:

For the Property / Facilities Assistant role, we are looking for someone who is looking to get "stuck in" to a newly created role, has an excellent work ethic.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to organise, plan and prioritise effectively
* Practical 'hands on' approach
* Interest and basic understanding of the commercial property business and property maintenance
* Full driving licence and own car

This role will involve travel so you will need your own vehicle - any business millage is paid back at 45p per mile. There will be excellent training moving forward and is ideal for someone who is looking to forger a career.
