We are currently looking to recruit a building and facilities manager for our client who are based in central London. This role has come about due to huge global expansion and is to be working directly under the Head of Group Property Services.


Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a building and facilities manager for our client who are based in central London. This role has come about due to huge global expansion and is to be working directly under the Head of Group Property Services.

Our client are in the insurance industry and this role is to be based in primarily 1 building in London but with overall management of 3. You will have experience of building / property management whilst having experience in out and out facilities management also. You will assist the Head of Group Property Services (HGPS) in managing the Groups Estate Facilities, Catering and Reception teams ensuring optimum operational efficiency, excellent service and quality.

You will be BIFM level 4 or an experienced ILM level 3 (or equivalent) and have a proven track record in a corporate environment.

The Role:

To assist in the management of the internal infrastructure of all current properties on a daily basis.

To liaise with landlords and managing agents.

To provide in maintenance of both planned and reactive for all properties.

To deal with all internal office moves and reorganisations

To assist in the upkeep, presentation and general cleanliness of properties.

To be involved in planning and effect adequate security arrangements for all premises

Management provision of catering services and board/meeting rooms

To assist in negotiating and management of contracts with service providers and suppliers of utilities, cleaning, maintenance companies, couriers etc.
