This will require 2 days a week working from the head office, however the other 3 days working around the 30 sites you will be responsible for. The role is looking to pay up to £40K and although a company car is not provided, business travel expenses will be covered.


Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Facilities Manager for a major accommodation company, in which their head office is based in the Manchester area. This will require 2 days a week working from the head office, however the other 3 days working around the 30 sites you will be responsible for. The role is looking to pay up to £40K and although a company car is not provided, business travel expenses will be covered.
This role will involve sole responsibility for 30 sites across the country, in which previous experience of multi site management is essential.
Key Responsibilities

1.To develop and achieve performance targets and improvement plans for the service area with a focus on continuous improvement & financial control.
2.To maintain accurate records of the condition & servicing requirements of all component equipment & other systems within the Mansion portfolio of properties.
3.To assist in the development of strategic priorities & plans for the Operations department with a focus on continuous performance improvement.
4.To monitor and regularly report on the performance & delivery of the Facilities Management function and recommend appropriate action where required.
5.To cultivate appropriate relationships with key external and internal partners & stakeholders.

6.To keep up to date with changes in legislation with a focus on Health & Safety and Risk Management, recommending changes to internal processes as appropriate.
7.Ensure that financial and all other resources are managed within agreed parameters, and to identify & implement opportunities to achieve greater efficiency.
8.To lead effectively the Facilities Management service to ensure all maintenance programmes including reactive, cyclical & planned are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
9.Ensure that all activities within the Facilities Management function meet, comply and integrate with organizational requirements for Health & Safety; risk management protocols; legal & statutory duties and; general duty of care.
10.To provide motivational leadership and support to team members ensuring clarity of direction, effective communication and development of individual potential including performance appraisals & training plans.
11.As a line manager, to ensure that the organization's equality, diversity and inclusion policies are fully implemented at all times and in all aspects of service delivery and employment.
12.Behave in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and current Data Protection Policy
13.In all aspects of the organization's work, to promote effective communications, excellence in Facilities Management services, and a focus on continuous improvement.
14.To carry out such other duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be directed by the Head of Operations and the Director of Operations.
Experience
*Minimum of 2 years in a relevant post of similar responsibility;
*Management level experience with budgetary responsibility;
*Track record in leading delivery of Facilities Management & Maintenance Services;
*Evidence of achieving excellence in delivery of services and commitment to continuous improvement;
*Evidence of developing and managing performance standards that enable successful achievement of the organization's business plans and objectives;
*Proven experience of achieving challenging targets and objectives.
