We're a well-established national cleaning company who have just undergone a massive restructure with the aim of becoming even bigger and more dynamic. Owing to that growth we're looking for a passionate Area Cleaning Manager to lead our varied contracts across Oxford and from there progress within the company.

The Role
In your new Area Cleaning Manager role you'll get the opportunity to manage our cleaning contracts and staff across the Oxford area, ensuring our service delivery remains top class and all commercial opportunities for growth are investigated.

Managing a team of around 40 operatives across 25 contracts you'll gain exposure to a variety of sites and property uses with all the challenges they pose; from laboratories and FMCG manufacturers to dairies and commercial office blocks your day to day role will always be different and you'll be constantly learning.

Across your territory you'll be responsible for end to end project management. From initial meetings with clients and site surveys to inspecting works, motivating your team, stock management and developing good understandings with customers as Area Cleaning Manager it all comes under your remit.

You'll report into our National Operations Manager and she will act as your mentor. She's been brought in to drive company growth and is looking for you to contribute significantly towards that and your own career progression as part of the operations team. To this end any opportunity you can find to increase our commercial reach will be rewarded.

The Candidate
If you've had experience managing cleaning contracts across multiple sites we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking to continue growing so as our Area Cleaning Manager you will be expected to bring a lot of energy, fresh ideas and ambition to this role. Your progression is going to be linked to company growth so if you have a nose for a new deal or business opportunity and enjoy developing and maintaining relationships with clients you're going to go far.

We really value our staff so strong people management and communication skills are very important to us too. You will need to be seen on site and have a strong working partnership with everyone on the team.

Owing to the nature of the role a full UK driving licence is essential.

Initially a family run business we've grown steadily over the years to cover the UK. In 2017 we decided to become more commercially-focused so went through a big restructure and are now ready to continue our expansion.
