Excellent opportunity to oversee the facilities provision for a fully-functional historic estate based near Oxford.

Salary:£35k - £40k (dependent upon experience)

The Opportunity
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an Estate Manager/Facilities Manager to oversee the historic buildings and grounds of an estate based in Oxford, now used as an educational facility. This is an excellent opportunity to develop the potential of the area through effective project management of large-scale refurbishments.

The Role
As the Estate Manager/Facilities Manager you will oversee the running and maintenance of the prestigious 29 acre estate which is used for a variety of purposes. Working in collaboration with the owners, an education company, main duties of the role will include:
*overseeing the hard and soft facilities provision for the manor house and grounds
*managing the team of estate staff
*devising and implementing all planned and reactive maintenance
*coordinating the tendering process for facilities suppliers
*producing an annual facilities budget for the estate
*project managing refurbishment ventures
*coordinating event support

The Candidate
As a successful Estate Manager/Facilities Manager candidate you must have a background working in a similar role within estates or facilities, experience in maintaining a historic or listed building or estate would be viewed as highly advantageous. You need excellent man management skills for the position and have experience developing and implementing plans to improve the facilities provision across the site.

Any demonstrable background overseeing refurbishment projects onsite within previous roles would be beneficial.
