Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of fulfilment solutions who are now seeking to appoint an experienced Facilities Manager at their state of the art distribution centre in South Yorkshire.

You will have full responsibility for managing suppliers and contractors to ensure the safe and cost effective delivery of all hard and soft site services including scheduled maintenance and repairs, plant, equipment and machinery. Candidates will need to have a proven track record in lean management principles and continuous improvement and will have experience within a distribution and/or fulfilment centre. The role will also encompass negotiating and ensuring all supplier SLAs and designing and implementing maintenance strategies, procedures and methodologies.

Candidates will need to have strong knowledge of building, electrical and mechanical systems maintenance practices and knowledge of PPM schemes combined with the ability to work on your own initiative and the enthusiasm and drive to be successful in a fast paced environment.
