Job Description

Our client is a Surrey based University who are seeking to appoint an Interim Estates Services Manager responsible for facilities and property services at a campus wide level. Reporting to the Director of Estates, the role will encompass an equal mix of hard and soft services including managing third party on site contractors. This is an immediate start interim contract with of approximately 2-3 months duration with the opportunity of permanent employment towards the end of 2010. Candidates who have a proven track record in Facilities & Estates management, ideally within a Higher and/or Further Education environment and holding a BIFM and/or Health & Safety qualification are invited to apply. Experience of managing and negotiating service level agreements, budget holding responsibility and knowledge of H&S policies and legislation are all essential for this Interim opportunity.
