The Role
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for a HR Generalist; HR Manager to oversee the day-to-day human resources function throughout the EMEA territory for a global telecommunications company from their UK office based in Crawley. Reporting to the Global HR Director main duties of the role will include:
*managing the full recruitment cycle the EMEA territory including vendor relationships, interviewing, selection, background checks and contract generation
*implementing the staff induction and development programmes
*designing and maintaining HR communications and intranet pages for staff
*resolving employee relations issues throughout EMEA
*assessing ways to continually improve HR processes and devising means to do this
*liaising with US Headquarters regarding ER and performance management across the territory

The Candidate
As a successful HR Generalist; HR Manager you must be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and ideally hold a CIPD accreditation. Experienced working with a similar HR Manager or Generalist role, preferably within a telecommunication or IT environment, you need to be a flexible, proactive and confident in a standalone HR position whilst being keen to stamp your mark on a rapidly developing international company. You should be able to demonstrate experience managing recruitment and induction processes and using a dedicated HRIS system such as Workday.

As the position will require some training in the US and trips to various sites within the territory you must be willing to travel occasionally.

The client is one of the world's leading telecoms companies within their field, currently active in 71 countries. Whilst the HR function is based in the United States owing to continued territorial growth they require a HR professional on the ground within EMEA to take responsibility for managing the full staff cycle within the area.
