Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an experienced HR Officer/Payroll Administrator to provide support on a 6 month fixed term contract in East London.


Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an experienced HR Officer/Payroll Administrator to provide support on a 6 month fixed term contract in East London. Main duties will involve:
* Writing/updating job descriptions and person specifications
* Providing advice and support for Line Managers and Directors on employment law and best practice techniques in all different situations
* Source and place job advertisements
* Conducting inductions for new staff members as required
* Issuing contracts of employment as required
* Entering timesheets onto computerised payroll in absence of payroll assistant
* Looking after HR administration and updating information on HR database
* Monitoring absence management
* Organising off-site training events

Previous generalist HR experience is required for this role. The successful HR Officer must have experience of using a computerised payroll package and be able to demonstrate good time management and numeracy skills. Hours of work will be Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm.
