The Role
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for a HR Advisor for a year's fixed term contract to provide professional HR advice and support the HR function for a country wide property management company from their offices based in Leeds. Reporting to the Group HR Manager the main duties of the role will include:
*guiding the management and HR team with regards to correct HR policy and procedures
*providing support for all employee relations issues including performance, grievances and conduct
*assisting with recruitment activities across the North
*supporting Group HR Manager to implement business change programmes e.g. TUPEs, acquisitions and restructuring
*consulting with local trade unions
*organising management workshops to educate the team about HR policy

The Candidate
As a successful HR Advisor candidate you must demonstrate experience working within a HR department at a similar level. A background dealing with trade unions is essential and you need to provide evidence of supporting business change programmes and managing employee relations. A CIPD qualification (or equivalent) would be viewed as highly desirable.
Additionally you must have excellent relationships management, communication and negotiation skills and be keen to develop these whilst contributing to the development of the HR team.

A full UK driving licence and own car is required.
