Job Summary

Job Title: Part-Time HR Advisor (HR Policy and GDPR knowledge) Location: Home based Salary: £11.43 per hour - 10 hours a week, flexible Fixed Term contract (Approx. January-May 2018) The Role: As the HR Advisor you will be providing support to the HR Business Partner and assisting with the action planning for GDPR. This role will ideally be based near Liverpool but as this can be home-based then location can be flexible for the right candidate.

Fixed Term contract (Approx. January-May 2018)

The Role:
As the HR Advisor you will be providing support to the HR Business Partner and assisting with the action planning for GDPR. The main duties will include:

· Reviewing all HR policies to include reference to GDPR where necessary
· Completing missing sections relating to data for L&D, Employment Tribunals, Disability, Trade Union etc.
· Agreeing new policy and process for HR data breach and re-write "Personal Information Policy"
· Providing HR administration support to assess accuracy of audit documents
· Finalising documents and consider training for HR staff ready for communication to staff about their rights
· Liaising with third party suppliers to ensure safeguards are in place

The Candidate:
Previous HR background with an understanding of HR practices and experience of applying HR policies is essential. The successful HR Advisor must have strong analytical skills and GDPR knowledge (or be prepared to do research in this area in order to oversee the action planning for GDPR). Experience of working within a civil service/public sector environment is preferred but not essential.

This is a temporary role with a view to start in January and probably to go through until May 2018. The successful candidate will be put through a DBS check.
