Salary: £30,000-£35,000


The Role:
As the HR Business Partner you will be supporting and consolidating significant structural and cultural changes throughout a civil service organisation, based in Liverpool, but working closely with colleagues in another regional office. Providing a full HR support service to senior managers to ensure the 2 year organisational and structural programme is implemented. The main duties will include:

* Actively managing Senior Management relationships through understanding the business, influencing thinking and delivering credible HR and OD services
* Writing and presenting change proposals to Directors and liaison with Directors and Managers to achieve effective HR initiatives
* Managing resourcing campaigns to help the organisation to secure the right skills in the right place and assisting managers to define vacancy requirements
* Participating in HR projects, including policy development, change management programmes and working groups as required
* Undertaking training needs analysis in different project areas and procuring staff development to meet gaps
* Assessing future staffing number requirements and coordinating cross-divisional issues such as assimilation and redeployment schemes


The Candidate:
Previous HR background with proven experience of leading organisational and structural change management programmes is essential. The successful HR Business Partner must be able to demonstrate recent experience of providing pragmatic HR advice to managers and have the gravitas to influence and co-operate with senior managers and Directors on site. Experience of working within a civil service/public sector environment is a pre-requisite. CIPD qualification, or equivalent, is needed. The successful candidate will be subject to security vetting at so a DBS check must be completed.

This is a 2 year fixed-term contract with a view to start in April 2015.
